GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this position is to help improve IT processes and systems by assessing processes, determining requirements, delivering data-driven recommendations and reports to stakeholders, and maintaining internal and external documentation. This position receives general direction from the Manager of Cybersecurity & Online Technologies and exercises no supervision.
NOTE: This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: More than one year of professional work experience in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, and/or Information Management.
Knowledge of: 1. Excellent customer service. 2. Microsoft Office and Visio. 3. ITIL and Business Analyst Process Framework. Skills in: 4. Oral and written communication. 5. Interpersonal and consultative communication. 6. Organization and facilitation. 7. Analytical thinking and problem solving. 8. Defining, documenting and maintaining requirements in the design process. 9. Process modeling. 10. Technical writing. 11. Detail orientation. Ability to: 12. Plan and organize work through excellent time management skills. 13. Prioritize multiple incoming issues in order of importance. 14. Make decisions with best interest of security and confidentiality in mind. 15. Expedite group discussion to determine consensus. 16. Spot patterns and develop models.
Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.
