GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for multiple functions of Testing Services, including staffing, planning, budgeting, and implementing and tracking testing initiatives. Supervise operations and maintain a testing environment that is secure and supportive of all students, faculty, and staff needs. Functions as a Texas Success Initiative (TSI) advisor, following all relevant Texas placement laws and policies. This position receives general direction from the Director of Student Engagement and exercises supervision over support staff.
NOTE: This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: More than two years of professional work experience in a supervisory position.
Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: More than two years of supervisory work experience in an educational setting.

Knowledge of: 1. College policies and procedures. 2. Texas rules and regulations related to TSI administration. 3. Proctoring/academic testing operating procedures and best practices. 4. Strategic planning and developing program goals and objectives. 7. Analyzing and problem solving. 8. Computer application. 9. Managing multiple projects and issues that may arise. Ability to: 10. Communicate effectively with diverse populations verbally and in writing. 11. Develop and maintain effective working relationships. 12. Work independently and in a team setting. 13. Provide exceptional customer service and role model expectations within the division. 14. Maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials. 15. Stay current on emerging technologies and software related to testing.
Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.
