GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
To assist Coordinator of Community Programs and provide information about current and ongoing CP courses. Assist in registration of CE students, maintaining accurate records, and complete general duties carried out in the CE department.
NOTE: This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: More than one year of work experience in an office environment.

Knowledge of: 1. Modern office procedures and computer equipment. 2. Proper English usage, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. 3. Skills in: 5. Execute superior customer services when dealing with diverse populations. 6. Reporting, recordkeeping, and filing. 7. Proper keyboarding technique. 8. Proficiency with Microsoft applications, internal software, and assistive devices and software. Ability to: 9. Interpret and apply applicable federal, state, and local college laws regarding rules, regulations, and policies. 10. Effectively perform, organize, and prioritize a variety of duties under time constraints. 11. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. 12. Learn and utilize interoffice programs, procedures, and computer technologies. 13. Work from alternate locations when necessary. 14. Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. 15. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. 16. Perform duties with a high level of accuracy. 17. Maintain current technology trends.
Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Insignificant effort other than normal movement. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.
