GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
To provide financial and accounting services to students and staff with efficient, effective and accurate financial transactions. To supervise support staff, and oversee daily operations. To promote a high level of customer service

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a business-related field.
Experience: More than one year of relevant, professional work experience.
Knowledge of: 1. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. 2. Federal, State, and local policies and regulations. 3. Microsoft Office and other software. 4. College financial policies and procedures. Skills in: 5. Problem solving and critical thinking. 6. Planning and organizing. 7. Customer service and people skills. 8. Communicating clearly and proficiently, both orally and in writing. Ability to: 9. Analyze and interpret financial and accounting records and determine possible errors. 10. Multitask and manage time to meet deadlines. 11. Handle money. 12. Prepare and balance student accounts. 13. Work independently.
Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Insignificant effort other than normal movement. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.
